I saw this on Facebook and had to post ! A TRUE HERO !!!
Jared wrote this I’m just sharing!!!♥️Must read ACT of KINDNESS post:
As I sat in the Moncton Emergency room Saturday night I witnessed a young man stumble to the Emergency doors who appeared very cold, confused and mentally unstable. A nurse and security used proper protocol and questioned the man before entering the hospital with the security to be escorted to triage.

I sat with my back towards the triage station but could hear the lovely voice of a nurse treating this man with so much respect & empathy. She asked him some questions that he couldn't answer due to the state he was in, she continues to talk to him with humour and reassured him that they would take good care of him. I heard the man say he didn't have a place to live and no one to call......that kind nurse told him not to worry he would get looked after..
.
.
Once he finished in triage he moved to the check-in station with another nurse. Again being asked questions he couldn't answer or answered with something that made no sense................while he was checking in the triage nurse went out back and got him a full hospital plate of food, a jacket and a warm blanket. Quote - "here bud have a meal, oh and look even got ya some ice cream. And if you don't like anything on the plate just toss it in the garbage not a big deal. Here try this jacket on first....not a perfect fit, little short cause your a tall guy haha! But it's yours now and here's a blanket too" while she rubbed him on the back. . You eat and someone will be calling your name soon.
.
WOW just WOW.

This was one of the nicest things I've witness in a long time, she could have very easily treated him like he was wasting their time, but no she seen his struggle and very honored to say that that nurse is a friend of mine...if we had more people like you in the world Sheila Colbourne we'd be in a good spot.

Thank you for being a frontline nurse and leading by example!
